More money saving fashion tips (for men and women)

One of my favorite ways to shop for myself and save money is to shop consignment. There are so many wonderful consignment stores where you can find some real gems at a fraction of the cost! Many people take high quality designer items they’ve only worn once to consignment shops. Most consignment stores have very strict policies on what type of clothing they will accept, so you can be assured that what you are buying is in good condition. In addition to saving money by shopping consignment, you can make some money by taking some of your own gently worn clothing to a consignment shop. Keep in mind however, that most consignment shops require that you submit clothing that has already been dry cleaned and pressed. While most consignment shops only carry women’s clothing, there are a select few that also carry men’s clothing. Nashville has one of the only men’s consignment shops (Flip!) in the US that has a wide selection of cool items, including high quality suits. Shopping consignment can be a smart move during these tough economic times.
