A Peek Inside the paNASH Style Closet: Business Casual For Less

Today's peek inside the paNASH Style closet comes from one of our summer interns, Jessica Pearsall. Jessica is a senior honors student in the Music Business program at Belmont University. She has also completed study abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina, a place where she was able to observe the latest fashion trends one to two seasons in advance of US fashion trends.

Summer is a great time to put a spin on the traditional pantsuit by pairing a blazer with some dressy, high-waisted shorts. By tucking in a casual white tank and adding a long necklace, the outfit looks put-together and classy, but still fun. Sandals are another casual touch, but the patent leather and sleek style keep it sophisticated. A close-toed flat can also work! The greatest part is that this outfit is made up of pieces you probably already have in your closet! I've had this black blazer for so long that I don't remember where I got it. The shorts are from Charlotte Russe and I surprisingly get a lot of use out of them even though they're a bit more formal looking. The necklace is from Forever 21- great deals there! And finally, I got these Nine West shoes last year at Burlington Coat Factory off the sale rack. These are all staple pieces that can remain in your closet for several seasons and be combined with other clothes to make countless outfits.
