Despite the fact that it already feels like summer here in Nashville, I'm so glad for the warm weather and the spring blossoms! To celebrate this beautiful season, here are some of the Spring 2012 fashion trends:
The Modern '60s Girl look is inspired by TV shows such as Pan Am and includes sculptural silhouettes, shift dresses and cigarette pants.
Inspired by the upcoming 2012 Summer Olympic Games, this look incorporates functional layers and 1990's utility looks.
One of my personal favorites, this trend is inspired by the Oscar Award-winning movie The Artist. It includes 20s-style fringe and pleated dresses and skirts, drop-waist pieces and both wrap dresses and t-shirt shaped dresses.
With The Life Aquatic look, think of the colors of the deep blue sea, some of my favorite blues and greens! Key pieces include the peplum and sheer tops in ocean rich colors.
Unlike The Golden Age's t-shirt shaped dresses, this look includes waist-defining dresses or crop top and full skirt combinations. This classic 50s style look with a modern twist also includes pencil skirts, twinsets, and halter tops.
